IgbereTV reports that President Muhammadu Buhari was in Ondo State on Tuesday to inaugurate the Ore Interchange Flyover on the Shagamu–Benin Expressway in Ondo State and other projects embarked upon by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
President Buhari in his statement said Ore is an important city, a mini-Nigeria in which virtually all ethnic groups are happily represented as he commended Governor Akeredolu for delivering the impressive infrastructure.
He added that the project was executed in line with the spirit and drive of the Federal Government which puts great emphasis on infrastructural development across the country, especially in transportation.
“I commend the collaborative efforts between the Federal Government and the Ondo State Government, in respect of the Ore Interchange Flyover. It is a worthy model for all other States to emulate. No one tier of government can on its own achieve the development Nigeria requires,” President Buhari said.
The President stated that the Federal Government will continue to confront Nigeria’s infrastructure deficit head-on.
Present at the inauguration was the Ekiti state Governor, Kayode Fayemi, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun among others.
