Former WBC heavyweight champion and American boxer Deontay Wilder has said he would activate the clause in his contract to have a rematch with Tyson Fury, IgbereTV reports.
If Wilder should go ahead with his latest decision, it will make it the third time the fighters will engage themselves in a boxing contest.
British Boxer, Tyson Fury stopped Wilder in the seventh round on Sunday to become the holder of the WBC heavyweight title. He floored Wilder twice during the fight.
According to the report, the loser of the fight had 30 days to activate a clause in the contract for a third fight, and Wilder will bid to win back his title.
With this latest development, it means that the anticipated fight between Fury and Anthony Joshua will have to wait until the rematch takes place.
