Gov Abiodun calls for peace amidst death of footballer in Sagamu

The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has reacted to the news of the death of Remo FC player, Tiamiyu Kazeem, who was allegedly killed my a SARS operative.

Gov. Dapo in his statement called for peace and calm as he said his administration was on top of the situation.

He said, “I have been informed about the tragic passing of Tiamiyu Kazeem AKA Kaka, who was until his death, a player with the Remo StarsSC.

“I want to personally assure everyone that we are on top of the case, and we will be launching an independent investigation that will ensure everyone found culpable is brought to book.”

“I urge everyone to be calm and orderly, while we look into the matter. Rest assured, we will never take lightly any matter relating to the security of lives and property of citizens and residents of the Ogun State.”
