IgbereTV can confirm that two former presidents of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and former First Lady, Patience Jonathan were today present at the funeral service in honour of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s late father, Elder Gabriel Nkanang at Awa Iman, ONNA LGA in Akwa Ibom State.
Goodluck Jonathan in his statement described the late Gabriel Emmanuel as a man who lived a fulfilled life of service to God and man.
He said, “Pa Gabriel Nkanang Emmanuel, father of Governor Udom Emmanuel lived a fulfilled life of service to God & humanity; raising leaders and impacting many lives. At his funeral today in Onna LGA, Akwa Ibom State, we paid our last respect to him. God repose his soul in eternal peace.”
