IgbereTv reports that the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola on Thursday attended the Passing Out Parade of the 5th Regular Cadets at the National Fire Academy Sheda, Abuja.
The National Academy is the foremost public fire training outfit in Nigeria.
According to the reports, the Federal Fire Service has in the last four years witnessed an unprecedented transformation with the procurement of 92 modern firefighting trucks, establishment of six new zonal commands in addition to the existing six commands and establishment of six training schools across the country.
Aregebsola subsequently commissioned into service, six state of the art modern firefighting trucks recently delivered to the Service.
The Minister also sent his hearty congratulations to all the graduating Cadets as well as their parents and relations.
