Ogun seek federal support on federal roads in the state

According to IgbereTV report, the Ogun State Government under the administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun on Wednesday received the Senate Committee on Works.

The committee which was led by former governor of Kebbi state, Senator Adamu Aliero, was in the state to inspect all ongoing projects in the South West, particularly road projects.

During the meeting Gov. Abiodun told the Senate Committee to “declare a state of emergency on federal roads in the state due to the deplorable condition of our intercity roads, most of which are crucial to this country due to their strategic location which is pivotal to the socio-economic development of our nation since they are the major roads linking the rest of Nigeria with Lagos State which is the 5th largest economy in Africa.”
