According to IgbereTV reports, the Delta State government led by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Tuesday swear in new members of the state sports commission.
Gov. Okowa in his statement said ”For several years, Delta State has distinguished itself as a sporting powerhouse — producing great athletes who have emerged victorious in domestic and international outings. This is why, today, I was delighted to swear-in the new members of the Delta State Sports Commission.”
“As we work towards building on our past successes, I have charged the new members of the Sports Commission — who are experienced technocrats — to go beyond their regular call of duty to promote strategic initiatives that will discover new talents and win more competitions.”
