Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to his Rivers State counterpart, Governor Nyesom Wike on the death of his uncle, Late Chief Charles Wike.
Governor Ikpeazu told his host that he came to commiserate with him all the way from Umuahia on behalf of the Government and People of Abia State.
In a statement made available to Igbere TV by Onyebuchi Ememanka, Chief Press Secretary to Abia Governor, he said Ikpeazu prayed God to console the Wike family over their loss.
Responding, Gov. Wike expressed delight at the visit and thanked Ikpeazu and the people of Abia for their show of love and brotherhood to his family at a difficult moment.
