“I’m Not Afraid Of Arrest”, Says Igbere TV Boss, Anyalekwa

Founder and Executive Director of popular online medium Igbere TV News, Mr. Emeh James Anyalekwa, has declared that he was not afraid of being arrested.

Anyalekwa stated this amid report that he was on the run following the alleged order for his arrest by Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja, over a publication.

Taking to his personal Facebook profile on Friday, the Igbere TV boss announced he was in Abuja, saying he would rather quit journalism than fear arrest.

Recall that Anyalekwa who doubles as National President of the Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), was in Abuja today for a business meeting.

“Those agents of govt who have been spreading fake news and rumor that I am on the run should come right now to Transcorp Hotel Abuja before it’s too late.

“I will be leaving Abuja soon. Any day I become afraid of arrest, I will simply drop the pen and quit journalism,” the Igbere TV boss, Anyalekwa added.
