Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode has thrown his weight behind Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu ban on Motorcycle popularly known as Okada in the State.
Despite the clamour for reversal of the policy, Fani Kayode stated that Sanwo-Olu did well by safeguarding the state.
Fani-Kayode said, “Lagos had been encircled, infiltrated and occupied by violent mercenaries from Niger and Chad all claiming to be Okada riders. If they rose up against the indigenous population in the name of jihad or ethnic cleansing it would have been hell. Sanwo-Olu did well by banning them.”
