IgbereTV report that the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday launched an Incident Command System to prevent the outbreak of the fast spreading Corona Virus.
According to Gov. Sanwo-Olu, he disclosed that the command will work with the healthcare professionals in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health to make sure that the disease doesn’t come into Lagos.
“We will operate the Command till we are certain our state is not at risk. I will take charge as Incident Commander while the Commissioner for Health Prof Akin Abayomi will serve as Deputy. We have started providing human and material logistics required for this exercise,” he added.
The Gov. also urged Lagosians not to worry and go about their normal business.
