According to the latest report reaching IgbereTV, the Federal Government led by Pres. Muhammadu Buhari has approved the construction of two new seaports.
This was made public on Tuesday by the Minister of Trabsportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
IgbereTV reports that the new seaports will be sited at Bonny, Rivers state and Warri, Delta state.
Rotimi Amaechi also confirmed the report as he said, ”the President has also approved the construction of two new seaports. One in Bonny, Rivers state, the other in Warri, Delta State. At the Lekki deep seaport, construction work is ongoing. “
The former Rivers State Governor also hinted that discussions are on about the Port Harcourt to Maiduguri rail line.
