2019 Presidential candidate and Former Minister, Oby Ezekwesili in a recently released statement has tackled the Lagos State Government over it ‘anti-poor policies’ which include the latest ban placed on motorcycles better known as Okada.
This comes after the Lagos State Government led by Babajide Sanwo-Olu ban Okadas from major highways in the state.
Oby Ezekwesili in her statement said, ”The dizzying spate of “Anti-Poor Policies” by Government of Lagos is quite worrying. What’s going on? You don’t tackle poverty by hiding away your Poor. You confront Poverty by targeting your Poor with Policies and Investments that raise their Productivity. Stop!”
