President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr. A. A. Gadzama as the new Chairman of the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS).
Mr. Gadzama, until his appointment, was the former Director-General (DG) of the Department of State Services (DSS), Igbere TV reports.
The appointment which took effect from Dec. 16, 2019, for an initial four years, is contained in a statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
The Public Relations Officer of the DSS, Dr Peter Afunanya, also confirmed the appointment to newsmen on Tuesday.
