The Supreme Court has shifted the date to deliver judgement on Kano State Governorship election to Monday, 20th January, 2020, Igbere TV reports.
Recall that the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Tanko Muhammad had walked out of Court yesterday and scheduled today for the judgement.
But when the seven-man panel of justices reappeared on Tuesday, the new date was announced at the hearing of the appeal filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Abba Yusuf.
Yusuf, who lost to incumbent Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of APC, is alleging that results from 207 Polling Units were cancelled.
The court will now on Monday next week decide the fate of the appeal after listening to arguments by the counsels representing the appellant and the respondents in the suit.
