Abia State House of Assembly member Hon. Engr Chinedum Orji popularly known as Ikuku, yesterday celebrated Christmas with his constituencies which includes ward 1,2,3, Afaraukwu, umuaguma, umuobasi, Amaokwe Ugba, Umuobasi Ugba, Okobo Afara and Oriogbo Afara.
During the Xmas tour round his constituencies, he donated bags of rice which numbered up-to 50 in each ward with dozens of wrappers and monetary gift wrapped in envelopes.
Ikuku as he is known didn’t stop at that, he went ahead to give a student from each ward N100,000 for their tuition in the University. Some of the students who benefited includes Miss Adaeze Mbogu, Uzoefule Nancy and others in different Institutions.
He also made it clear that he will make sure that there is light in his constituencies and disclosed that he had acquired transformers which will soon be installed to facilitate power.
Hon. Orji also empowered 4 youth leaders with cars, they won these cars through a lottery organised by the communities.
