Different professional groups, today, visited the hometown of Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State to celebrate the Yuletide.
Igbere TV reports that the road leading to the Governor’s hometown was extremely busy as the different groups queued up to take turn to celebrate the yuletide with the Governor.
Speaking during the colourful event, the leaders of the groups thanked Governor Umahi for transforming the State.
They pledged their support for him and prayed to God to keep guiding and protecting him for the good people of Ebonyi State.
They also presented different gift items to the Governor for his good works in the State.
However, speaking with Igbere TV correspondent after the event, the Special Assistant on Media to Umahi, Mr. Francis Nwaze said what happened at the Christmas homage at the Governor’s home on Monday is a proof that being good is rewarding as the sea of heads from different groups only came to say THANK YOU to the Governor for the too many to mention good deeds he has been doing for the state, both Ebonyians and Non-Ebonyians residing in the state.
