Osinbajo, Onyeama Receives Brazilian Delegation To Nigeria (Photos)

IgbereTV reports that Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo today at the State House received a Brazilian delegation led by the country’s External Relations Minister Ernesto Araujo, and Congress Deputies Marco Feliciano, Marcio Marinho, and Helio Lopes.

Among issues discussed is “The Green Imperative” — a Nigeria-Brazil Agricultural Development Programme launched in January 2019 and aimed at boosting agricultural production in Nigeria.

The Green Imperative amongst other things entails the introduction of advanced Brazilian Agricultural Equipment (ABIMAQ) into Nigeria as well as the establishment of Training Centres for Nigerian Farmers across the country.

Ernesto Araújo also visited the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Headquarters, Abuja. Both ministers dscussed partnering in agriculture, defence & trade which will further strengthen bilateral relations between Nigeria and Brazil.
