IgbereTV reports that Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom said he will give out free grains to 2300 widows across the 23 Local Government Areas of Benue State.
Ortom revealed the plan at the weekend during a meeting with members of the Benue State chapter of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Makurdi.
He urged the leadership of the PFN at the various councils to identify at least 100 widows in each of the LGAs cutting across all the wards to benefit from the grains.
