President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Zikrullah Hassan as chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
Igbere TV reports that Hassan, an indigene of Osun, replaces the outgoing chairman, Abdullahi Muhammad.
In a letter sighted by Igbere TV on Tuesday, Buhari also named new commissioners for the Muslim pilgrims’ agency.
The President has forwarded the names of all the nominees to the Senate, which was read at plenary on Tuesday.
