Dozzy Oil Boss, Chukwudozie, Named "Businessman Of The Year"

Founding Chairman and Group Managing Director of Dozzy Oil and Gas, Sir Daniel Chukwudozie, has been named “Businessman of the Year” in the just concluded 2019 Leadership Excellence Awards.

The oil tycoon beat four other prominent Nigerian captain of industries to bag the prestigious award at an event organized by Igbere TV on Thursday, Nov. 28 at Sheraton Hotels, Abuja.

According to Nigerians who nominated and massively voted Chukwudozie for the award, the choice of him was due to his contributions to the social-economic development of the country.

“Chukwudozie has provided job opportunities for thousands of Nigerians and non-Nigerians who are working directly and indirectly for his companies”, said one, who graced the well-attended function.

“The award is indeed in recognition of his (Chukwudozie’s) hard work, integrity, patriotism and giant accomplishments.”

On his part, the oil magnate thanked the organizers of the award event for the honours bestowed on him, while calling on Nigerian youths to remain focused and dedicated.

Chukwudozie also used the occasion to call on other prominent Nigerians to give back to the society by creating job opportunities and wealth for the youths.

Igbere TV reports that the Dozzy Oil boss was accompanied to the award ceremony by his amiable wife, Lady Ada Chukwudozie; friends, family, business associates and staff of the company.

Other recipients of the Igbere TV Award include Senate President Ahmed Lawan, former President Goodluck Jonathan, former Speaker of House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara; Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Sen. Godswill Akpabio.

Others were: Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi; former Imo governor Sen. Rochas Okorocha; Acting EFCC Chairman, Mr Ibrahim Magu and Rep Nkeiruka Onyejeocha among others.
