IgbereTVAward: What I'll Do in Abuja on Nov 28 - Guru Maharaj Ji Speaks Again

Spiritual leader, Guru Maharaj Ji has, again, spoken for the second time since his nomination for the 2019 Igbere TV Leadership Excellence Awards.

Maharaj-Ji, who has turned down several awards in the past, happily accepted his nomination following the massive votes by many Nigerians.

The award ceremony is billed to hold on the 28 of November, 2019, at Sheraton Hotels, Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Speaking on Tuesday when organizers of the event called at his Maharaj-Ji village in Ibadan, Oyo state, the cleric expressed sincere gratitude over the development.

He said he is highly elated and feels he has no right to reject the Award or not to be present in Abuja to receive it, since he was nominated and massively voted for by well meaning Nigerians.

Asked how he feels about the Award, Maharaj-Ji said he wouldn’t want to be faster than his shadow. “I will reserve that until the day of the Award”, he added.

On the just concluded Kogi and Bayelsa states gubernatorial elections, the spiritual leader said all aggrieved parties should wait for the Election Tribunal to decide.

Speaking on future polls, particularly the 2023, he said those who have made sacrifices should be allowed to lead Nigeria. He pointed out that the APC national leader, Bola Tinubu has made such sacrifices and that he(Maharaj-Ji) would support that Tinubu becomes the next president in 2023.

On the Igbo presidency, he said his desire is to have a situation where there would be nothing like the Yoruba, Igbo, Efik or Hausa presidency. But a president that would have the interest of Nigerians at heart.
He said anyone who has such ambition should come to him and would be successful.

On the Golden Age, Maharaj-Ji said it was for the restoration of man/humanity to his rightful place in the universe.

Speaking on the 40th Humanitarian Service, he said it was all about the sacrifices he has made to restore man to dignity and chart the way for self-discovery so that there would be everlasting peace in the world.
