The president made this statement on Twitter while congratulating David Lyon on his victory in the Saturday 16 gubernatorial election.
President Buhari wrote on Twitter:
I most warmly congratulate the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the Bayelsa election, David Lyon, on his impressive victory. I look forward to working with the incoming government to improve the lives of the people of Bayelsa State.
