Senator Dino Melaye is currently mourning the death of his nephew who was shot dead during yesterday’s Governorship and Senatorial Elections in Kogi State, Igbere TV reports.
Melaye, who is the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in rerun of the legislative seat, confirmed the death of Olorunjuwon early on Sunday, November 17, saying the deceased paid the ultimate price for the liberation of the Kogi people.
He said : “My nephew Olorunjuwon who was shot at my pooling unit yesterday died this morning. My brother your death is a Supreme sacrifice in the struggle for the liberation of our people,” Melaye mourned.
