IgbereTV reports that the Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare has finally met the promising kid boxer, Shekinat, whose display of amazing boxing skills got the attention of the sports minister.
Some days ago a Twitter user @samsom_stringz sent a recorded video clip of boxing practice by the little girl Shekinat, to the sports minister.
@samsom_stringz posted the video and wrote:
I saved this some months back sir, you might want to find this girl, her coach and her parents too.
Sunday Dare replied:
I need the name of the little girl and the number of the coach. Another budding talent. I am inspired to lead the ministry to crank up a Talent Hunt Program. THP that will pick up these young ones and nurture them.
When the Minister finally met with the little girl, he posted:
The Ministry of Youth and Sports development finally caught up with the kid boxer Shekinat and her father and Energy, her coach in Mushin, Lagos. Here is a new teaser of the stuff she is made of
