The executive Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, on Wednesday, received in audience the new British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Catriona Laing and her entourage at the Government House, Enugu, Igbere TV reports.
The High Commissioner, who described Enugu as “a very lovely state”, had fruitful interactions with Gov. Ugwuanyi on how to further the existing socio-economic relationship between the state and the United kingdom.
Recall that Ugwuanyi was recently voted by Nigerians as the ‘2019 Most Performing Governor’.
The award will be presented to him by Igbere TV on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Sheraton Hotel, Abuja.
