The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, challenging the election of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Igbere TV reports that the seven-man panel of Judges led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria dismissed the appeal for lacking in merit.
Atiku had appealed against the presidential tribunal’s dismissal of his petition against the declaration of President Muhammadu Buhari as winner of the February 23 presidential election.
