The Consul-General, United States Mission in Nigeria, Ms. Claire Pierangelo, accompanied by the Director, Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Mr. Mahesh Swaminathan and others including a delegation from Caritas Nigeria, paid a courtesy call on Tuesday evening, on Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, ahead of Wednesday’s official launch of Enugu State Antiretroviral Therapy Surge programme by the governor.
The Consul-General who was delighted to be in Enugu, advocated for greater collaboration with the state government in the prevention, treatment and reduction of spread of HIV in the state.
Enugu State is in the hands of God. ##
