Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has kicked off the reconstruction of Monarch mini-bridge, off Ugwuaji-Loma Linda-Timber road, in Enugu State.
Igbere TV had reported that the old bridge constructed over two decades ago, which provided access to the highly populated neighbourhood, collapsed at the peak of the rainy season, drawing the attention of the governor who ordered its immediate reconstruction.
During the inspection of the Mini-bridge, Ugwuanyi assured that it will soon be completed.
The community expressed happiness over the speed in which the work is going on despite the rainy season.
They assured Ugwuanyi of their support and described him as a man with a good heart.
