A popular online media, Igbere TV on Thursday congratulated the newly inaugurated Commissioner for Trade and Commerce in Abia State, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Cosmos Ndukwe.
Ndukwe, a former Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, was among the 23 new Commissioners sworn in by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, on Wednesday.
In a statement signed by the Director of Igbere TV, Emeh James Anyalekwa, he lauded Governor Ikpeazu on the choice of Dr Ndukwe as Commissioner in his cabinet, describing the appointment as a round peg in a round hole.
“On behalf of my family and staff of Igbere TV, I congratulate Rt Hon (Dr) Cosmos Ndukwe on his inauguration as the Commissioner for Trade and Commerce in Abia State”, he said.
Anyalekwa urged the new commissioner to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the ministry, saying, “I have no doubt that he will make a mark in the field.”
“Igbere TV believes your versed experience will play major roles in advancing Trade and Investments in Abia State”, added Anyalekwa.
The communications expert, however, charged the new commissioner to hit the ground running by initiating more development agenda for the ministry.
The foremost community TV also pledged its support to the new commissioner and the ministry, in reporting its activities.
“It is our prayer that he succeeds in the new assignment and win laurels to the admiration of all Abians,” the Igbere TV boss added.
