President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, met with (Ret.) Gen. Williams M. Frasher III, the executive vice-president of the United States Air Force (USAF), in New York.
The President also met with Mr Taco Gilbet, senior vice-president of the Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC); and Alhaji Ibrahim Garba of the US Aviation and Security Department.
The three leaders met on the sidelines of the ongoing 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA74) in the United States.
The meeting of the trio was disclosed in a statement sighted by Igbere TV on the verified Twitter handle of the Nigerian government, @NigeriaGov, on Friday.
The United States Air Force (USAF) is the aerial and space warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces. It is one of the seven American uniformed services. The Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), on the other hand, is an American privately held electronic systems provider and systems integrator specializing in microsatellites, telemedicine, and commercial orbital transportation services. The SNC is run by Chief Executive Officer, Fatih Ozmen and President, Eren Ozmen. The company contracts with the United States Armed Forces, NASA and private spaceflight companies. It is headquartered in Sparks, Nevada.
