See How Gov. Umahi Transformed Tiny Path Road Franked By Grasses Into Concrete Pavement

Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State has continued his transformation agenda by constructing strong and durable road network in the State. 


In a statement made available to Igbere TV on Friday by Mr. Francis Nwaze, Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, stated that theroad is popularly called Okwo – Nzerem – Okue Road, located in Ivo LGA. It was before now, a tiny path franked by grasses in both sides which farmers use to journey to their farmlands. It is imperative to note that the road equally connects several communities.


He said : “See the attached picture to confirm why every lips is in agreement with the fact that Governor David Nweze Umahi is exceptional. I’m yet to see any state in the country where an alley was transformed into a Concrete Based Pavement Road in just a space of 6 Months.”


“The road is popularly called Okwo – Nzerem – Okue Road, located in Ivo LGA. It was before now, a tiny path franked by grasses in both sides which farmers use to journey to their farmlands. It is imperative to note that the road equally connects several communities.”


“The governor, Engr. David Nweze Umahi immediately gave approval for the construction of the road  having seen the usefulness, the lives it will touch and the result which will be recorded in the Area of transporting Agricultural produce.” 


“Governor Umahi is a prayer answered by God to the people of Ebonyi State.”
