Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, has arrived Kampala, Uganda’s capital.
Igbere TV gathers that the Speaker is in Uganda to attend the annual Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference.
He was received by Nigeria’s Ambassador to Uganda, Amb. (Dr) Etubom Nya-Eyoma Asuquo, upon arrival in the country.
The Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference will see lawmakers across Commonwealth nations in attendance.
This years 64th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference hopes to address global issues and evolution parliamentary democracy.
Taking to Twitter to announce his arrival in a tweet sighted by Igbere TV, Wednesday, Speaker Gbajabiamila wrote;
“Arrived Uganda for the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference @CPA_Secretariat with fellow lawmakers. Warm reception by Nigeria’s Ambassador to Uganda H.E Amb. (Dr) Etubom Nya Eyoma Asuquo.”
