The Delta State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal has upheld the victory of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in the March 9, 2019 gubernatorial election, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV recalls that the APC candidate, Chief Great Ogboru, had dragged Okowa to the Tribunal over alleged over-voting and other allegations during the voting exercise.
Delivering judgement on Friday, however, the three-man panel of justices said the petitioners failed to prove their allegations beyond reasonable doubt.
The Tribunal, therefore, dismissed the petition for lacking in substance and merit.
