OMPAN Postpones Planned Tour of Udom Emmanuel's Projects

The NEC and members of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN) has announced postponement of its planned Visit to Akwa Ibom State for a tour of projects executed by the Udom Emmanuel-led administration originally scheduled to commence on Wednesday 18th through 21st of September 2019, Igbere TV reports.

The association made this known in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr. Y.K Ismaila, and sent to Igbere TV on Wednesday.

The association in the statement says the reason for the postponement of the tour was beyond its control.

He added that they regrets the decision to postpone the tour and also apologized to the public for inconveniences the postponement may have caused.

The statement as obtained by Igbere TV reads; “The NEC and members of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN ) regret to inform the general public, especially the good people of Akwa Ibom of the postponement of its planned media tour of the state hitherto scheduled to take place between September 18 and 21st, 2019 due to reasons beyond its control.

OMPAN apologizes sincerely for any inconvenience that this postponement may have caused you. New dates for the tour will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

While thanking you for your understanding, please accept the assurances of OMPAN’s dedication to the service of Nigeria through tireless dissemination of prompt, concise, objective and factual information.”
