Former Governor of Abia State and Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia North Senatorial District, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has emerged winner of Saturday’s National Assembly elections in the state, Igbere TV reports.
In a declaration by INEC at the Collation Centre in Ohafia LGA monitored by Igbere TV, Dr. Kalu polled a total of 31, 203 votes to defeat his closest rival and incumbent Senator of the PDP, Mao Ohuabunwa, who polled a total of 20, 801 votes; while APGA’s Bourdex polled 11, 410.
