Following the retirement of out going Inspector General of Police, Idris, President Muhammadu Buhari has Approved the Appointment of Adamu Mohammed as his replacement in acting capacity, Igbere TV can authoritatively report.

Adamu has Served as the Commissioner Of Police in Enugu State and currently the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone Five, in Benin ,Edo State.

AIG Abubakar Adamu Mohammed is to take over from outgoing Inspector General Of Police Ibrahim Idris.

Igbere TV had reported that out going IGP had a ‘make or mar’ meeting with President Buhari in Aso Rock today.
