Ahead of 2019 General Election, the Apex Igbo Organization, Ohanaeze Ndiigbo has reportedly shocked Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party presidential, Atiku Abubakar and President Muhammadu Buhari.
The group revealed that it has not officially endorsed any Presidential Candidate yet.

It will be recalled that the organization made headlines recently when it welcomed the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar but speaking to newsmen on Monday in Enugu, the group’s Spokesman, Mr Chuks Ibegbu said that the group will formally declare support for a candidate in January 2019.
PoliticsNGR further gathered that Ibegbu asked Nigerians to reject politicians that have nothing to offer them and those that have kept them in suffering over the years.
He also warned INEC against any form of electoral malfeasance calling on voters to vote and secure their votes.
“Nobody should take Nigerians for a ride this time with fake promises,” Ibegbu noted.
He insisted that Ohanaeze has not yet adopted or endorsed any Presidential candidate but will meet early in January to decide on Igbo political trajectory and direction.
