Ekiti NUJ felicitates with Yinka Oyebode over Appointment As Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Governor Fayemi.

Owing to the recent Press Release issued by the Ekiti State Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalist (NUJ), Mr. Yinka Oyebode has been felicitated with over his new appointment as the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi.

The Ekiti State NUJ State Council in a statement made available to the newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday and jointly signed by both the State Chairman of the Council, Comrade Lion Rotimi Ojomoyela and the State Secretary, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi, they described the appointment of Mr. Yinka Oyebode as a round peg in a round hole describing him as an astute, deligent, selfless and Professional Journalist who has made a landmark in the Media Industry in the Country and beyond.

The statement also rejoiced with the new Chief Press Secretary and prayed God to grant him the wisdom to record unprecedented successes and to justify the confidence reposed in him by the Governor of the State, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi. The State Council emphasized that the appointment of Mr. Yinka Oyebode is a great plus for the Media Industry in the State and beyond, adding that the impact and contributions of the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to both individual Journalist and Media Organizations during the First Term of the Governor cannot be quantified.

It appreciated the Governor for the appointment and hoped that more Journalist would still be absorbed into the Government to enable them contribute their professional skills towards the realization of the noble policies and programmes of the present Government. The NUJ promised to give all necessary support to the new Chief Press Secretary towards achieving great feats.
