The common sense senator, Ben Murray Bruce has clashed with Ebonyi state governor and Chairman of South East Governors Forum, Chief Dave Umahi Over Peter Obi.
Recall that Gov Umahi sparked a nationwide controversy last week following his outburst over Atiku’s alleged non consultation with South East Governors Forum before the announcement of ex Governor Peter Obi as his running mate for the 2019 presidential election under the Peoples Democratic party (PDP).

IGBERE TV reports that Senator Ben Bruce, in a tweet today, lampooned Governor David Umahi, describing his (Umahi) outburst as retrogressive and unnecessary.
However, Gov Umahi said he has nothing against Obi, but due consultation of the Easterners should had been made by Atiku and those concerned on the choice of one of theirs before announcing him for such prospective exalted position.
But, Senator Ben Bruce who sees it differently, knocked Umahi over his “infantile” outburst.
Ben Bruce, on his twitter page, wrote:
“@Atiku has oompah and this is definitely his time. We in the @OfficialPDPNig do not need any body to jinx this momentum. Umahi should take a chill pill. Atiku and Peter Obi must be allowed to surf this wave all the way to power without any naysayers trying to stop the movement.”
