Report reaching IGBERE TV newsdesk indicates that a mega rally planned to formally kick start the campaign of Bola Tinubu’s rumoured anointed candidate for Lagos Guber 2019, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has been called off by APC leadership.
An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain who spoke with IGBERE TV correspondent said “we received an order from our leader that the rally should be cancelled.”
No reason has been given for the sudden cancellation of the mega rally which was scheduled to hold at the Blue Roof in the premises of Lagos Television (LTV)

However, the party chieftain said the decision may be the fallout of the meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on the political crisis rocking the State.
It’s important to note that with the developments, the coast appears clear now for Gov Ambode to seek re-election.
