A very disturbing report just reaching IGBERE TV news desk indicates that Boko Haram terrorists have taken control of Damasak, a town in Mobbar Local Government Area, about 180km away from the state capital, Maiduguri.

This troubling development comes less than 24 hours after the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, visited the town to address the 134 battalion.

IGBERE TV correspondent reports that Military sources reveal that after Buratai’s visit, the insurgents raided the base and successfully drove the soldiers away.
