Oche added that his boss had carried out a nationwide consultation before reaching the decision to join the battle.
He said Mark’s presidential race is aimed at helping to salvage the entity called Nigeria from a total collapse.

“Yes, the last man standing has arrived. He would be picking his forms on Tuesday. It is time to save Nigeria from collapse,” Daily Nigerian quoted Oche as saying.

It was earlier reported that a former Kano state governor and PDP presidential aspirant,
Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, expressed confidence that the huge number of presidential aspirants vying for the party’s ticket in the 2019 presidential election would not lead to the party’s implosion.

Shekarau, a former minister of education, stated this in a statement after a condolence visit to the governor of Bayelsa state, Seriake Dickson, on the demise of his mother, at his Toru-Orua country home in Sagbama local government area of the state.

According to Shekarau, the number of aspirants in the opposition PDP, is a sign of hope, noting that what is important is how responsibly they conduct themselves and the business of their campaigns as a family.
