Nigeria’s Finance minister, Kemi Adeosun is currently embroiled in a serious scandal involving a forged NYSC certificate.
The minister is said to have acquired a fake NYSC certificate that is now allegedly being used to blackmail her.
Igbere TV learnt that a ‘cartel’ in the National assembly has allegedly been using this to coerce the minister to release funds to the lawmaking arm of government.
An online newspaper, Premium Times earlier reported that the discrepancy was first detected by the Senate during the minister’s confirmation hearing. But rather than probing the issue, they turned it into a tool against Mrs. Adeosun.
The report linked the certificate scandal to the minister’s excessive, even illegal, funding of the lawmakers, including recently funneling a N10billion largesse to that arm of government.
