A Harwood junior high school employee, SHANNON HATHAWAY, 33 have been arrested by the Bedford police department over illicit relationship with a teenage student. Mrs Shannon Hathaway was alleged to be having an affair with a nine grade student.

The police has issued warrant to the harwood junior high school employee on the ground of the allegation between she and the 17 years old student. The News station AFW-TV Reported that the police contacted the officials of harwood junior high school about the allegation and the counselor was placed on paid leave.
The pair was caught both naked having sex on the bed before the teen mother walk in on them. In the massage sent to the parent on may 21, DR TOBY GIVENS the principal of HARWOOD JUNIOR HIGH, said that Mrs Hathaway’s absence from the campus had been due to a potential violation of district policy.
Superintendent STEVE CHAPMAN, HEB,ISD, Said in a voice mail that was sent to the parents on Thursday morning, that Hathaway was a formal employee, and there is no evidence to suggest that the alleged crime was committed on Harwood junior campus.
An attorney representing Hathaway contacted the bedford police, stating that Shannon Hathaway is ready to surrender to the Terrant county sheriff department, on Thursday.
The Texas state board of Educators was notified by the school district to be away of the investigation.
