Barely 24hrs after Osinbajo visited Benue,Fulani herdsmen attacked a community in Benue and killed 3.Sharing the news,a reporter with National Times Newspaper named Joseph wrote….
Barely a day after VPs visit, Fulani herdsmen terrorists this morning between 6:30 am -9:00am launched deadly attack on Ukemberagya community, Gaambe-Tiev Logo LGA. So far 3 people discovered shot and killed. They are Bem Torjem, Apedzan Chia & Ikpuku Peven of Tse Koya others still missing at the time of this report.
The affected settlements are Tse-Mue, Torkaa, Mgbakpa, Torjem & Ifer villages.
They came at a time when farmers were on their way to the farms. There is palpable fear as everybody has now deserted the area.
Our people can no longer cultivate the land despite rainy season’.
