The founder of the ‘New  Nigeria Movement 2019’ Dr. Chima Anyaso has given a passmark to the Abia state governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu saying he deserves a second term

The converner of the group ‘New Nigeria Movement 2019’ Dr. Chima Anyaso stated this during their two-day retreat in Igbere, Abia State.

Speaking exclusively with Igbere TV correspondent, Dr. Chima Anyaso said :

” We are here in Igbere for two days retreat, as you can see, am here with some members of the New Nigeria Movement. A lot of them are from the north, some are from the south west while some are from south south and south east equally. We are made up from all the region in Nigeria because we are Nigerians and we are called the NN 19 group which means New Nigeria 2019. And  am the convener and founder of the group “.

“The retreat has been going on smoothly as we have had a deliberation about 2019. The New Nigeria Movement is an initiative which we want to use to get every Nigerian, in order to achieve and bring about the Nigeria that works for everybody. We are non partisan and it is political movement and by the grace of God, we are hoping that this will be the third force that will carry every Nigerian along so that all the agitations both negative and positive will be brought together for a new and better Nigeria that works for everybody.

When asked if there are challenges facing the group, he said,

“So far, there is no any challenge because what we are doing is the right thing. And we have met with some of the former heads of states. We started with IBB in Minna and interacted with him and he supported the movement because we are only asking for their support to get the young people involved in the system “.

” And we have also inquired from them why we are where we are because they are the ones that have handled this nation and still in charge as we speak”.

“If you look at our President, he has ruled as a head of state before at the age of 33 and today he is 75 and still ruling the nation. The people that we have met, like IBB and Obasanjo were classmates with Buhari in the army.

“Meanwhile, we were told that we are leaders of tomorrow and that tomorrow has never come. So, we the young people have decided to take our destiny by our own hands. Like you saw equally at the charity school that I built for my people, where I’m giving free education, you saw the little children and what my friends told them that they are the leaders of tomorrow and if they are the leaders of tomorrow, this means that we are the future leaders of today”.

He also commended governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu and said that he will continue to support him because he is doing well in tackling the challenges in the state.

When asked if he has any political aspiration come 2019 by our correspondent, in his words.

“Yes, I will be running for federal house of representatives to represent Bende Federal Constituency. And there is no two ways about it because I have declared my intention and everybody in Bende knows about this”.
