A 46yr old man by name Aniekan Peter Sunday committed suicide in his house in Otomo community,Ika LGA of Akwa Ibom state in the early morning of today. Nobody really knows the actual cause of the barbaric action. Below is what the village head of the community Chief Sunday Thomas Mbaba said
A 46yr old man by name Aniekan Peter Sunday committed suicide in his house in Otomo community,Ika LGA of Akwa Ibom state in the early morning of today.
Nobody really knows the actual cause of the barbaric action. Below is what the village head of the community Chief Sunday Thomas Mbaba said
” early this morning a youth from his community by name Philip came to his compound and informed him of the said barbaric action. The chief himself went to the police station to inform the DOP about the unfortunate and unforeseen action.The DOP of Ika Divisions,a kind hearted man Sir Musa Rilwanu appeared at the scene for police interrogation and investigations on what could have been the cause of the man’s dead”.
According to the youths and the women of the said community, Aniekan happens to be the only surviving son of his family.His father died recently and will be buried on Friday 11/5/2018.
