BREAKING!!! Explosions Rock Nkwor Ogbe Market Anambra, Two Buildings on Fire (Photos)

Two buildings at Nkwor Ogbe market Ihiala, in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, gutted by fire.

The fire, which started at about five o’clock in the evening yesterday, destroyed goods worth millions of naira.

However prompt assistance by passersby prevented the inferno from razing the entire market.

As at the time of filing this report, personnel from Nnewi Fire Service were battling to put out the fire.

The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.

However, eyewitnesses said the fire started after a ‘big bang’ came from one of the buildings.

This is coming few hours after unknown persons bombed the home of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo President, Nnia Nwodo in Enugu with IEDs.
