The good people of Oro in Oron, Akwa Ibom State have conferred the former Abia State governor, Chief Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, a chieftaincy title for his goodwill and kind gesture.
The title of ‘Ubei Adai Oro Nation (which simply means, ‘Hope Of Oro Nation’) was conferred to Dr. Kalu by the newly coronated king of Oro Nation, H.R.M Ahta (Hon.) Edet O. Isemin – Ahta Oro VII.
Dr. Orji Kalu who is currently in China was represented by the Former Deputy Inspector General of Police, Barrister Azubuko Joel Udah, the Igbere Traditional Rulers and the Executive Secretary of the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation, Rev Mrs. Jemimah Ola Kalu.
